Executive Placement Network is Hiring a Data Analyst Near New York, NY
Seeking an experienced Data Analyst with good knowledge of Power BI, to gather, review and present data reports.
Responsibilities will include:
- Obtaining and gathering statistical
- data from various sources, compiling and reviewing records
- Connecting and integrating data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and cloud services, into Power BI datasets.
- Cleaning and organizing data to ensure it is suitable for reporting and analysis and support management decision-making with data protection regulations.to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs specifications, and best practices.
- Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards which provide data insight
- Identifying areas of system optimization based on business processes.
- Following security measures to ensure data confidentiality and compliance
- Collaborating with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining documentation for data models, report
Qualified candidates will have:
- Demonstrated data analysis and reporting experience, working with large
and disparate data sources
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dissect large amounts of
data.
- 4 years of experience with PowerBI Reporting and Dashboards, translating
business requirements into Dashboards and Reporting
- 4 years or experience working with relational databases and strong knowledge
of SQL and other database technologies
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey complex
information, and explaining technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with individuals
at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business
Administration, or a related field.
- * Must possess a valid New York State issued Driver’s License.
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification is preferred.
- Experience in the transportation especially in railroad industry is a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Work Location: In person
