Executive Placements is Hiring a Human Resource Generalist Near Richmond, VA

Magnify has an exciting new role looking for a talented and organized Human Resources Generalist! The HR Generalist, would be responsible for comprehensive support of the HR Department with sourcing talent, employee relations, onboarding, and payroll.

If you would enjoy working on a team that has multiple years of combined expertise in human resources, are a strong communicator with a passion for learning and teaching, and strive to continue to grow your professional career, then we want to hear from YOU!

Strongly preferred:

  • SHRM Certification
  • Solid understanding of labor laws/employment laws
  • Policy writing experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with all internal and external HR-related matters.
  • Participating in development of new organizational guidelines and procedures, i.e. writing policy
  • Recommend strategies to motivate employees.
  • Provide support for, and collaborate with other departments
  • Investigating complaints brought forward by employees and implementing solutions.
  • Coordinating employee development plans and performance management.
  • Managing the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.
  • Producing and submitting reports on general HR activity.
