Job Overview:

We are on the hunt for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and push the boundaries of data engineering. You'll have the opportunity to develop innovative tools, code, and services that are critical to our data engineering operations. This role requires a blend of technical prowess and creative problem-solving as you work on various data movement and transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently move structured and unstructured data using state-of-the-art methods.
• Perform data ingestion tasks to store data securely at local or enterprise levels.
• Examine data in its native formats and develop code to format data, facilitating further analysis.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and partners to analyze source data formats and develop optimal data transformation strategies.
• Create and implement tools and code for both ad-hoc and ongoing data transformations into designated data models.
• Adhere to and implement ETL standards and best practices.
• Craft detailed ETL Code Transition Plans.
• Produce comprehensive project documentation, including ETL mappings, code usage guides, and access instructions.
• Lead Code Reviews and provide expert consulting services to support data transport initiatives.

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Proficiency in Python, AWS, SQL, or APIs.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with advanced technology stacks such as Docker/Kubernetes, Hadoop/Spark, NiFi, and ELK stack.

Security Clearance:

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly.
