DescriptionThis role involves leveraging your extensive experience to drive data architecture initiatives in a remote setting for a duration of 6 months. You will be responsible for leading data integration efforts, ensuring high-quality code releases, and mentoring junior team members through design and development processes.
You will thrive in a structured environment, managing multiple parallel tasks while taking the initiative to challenge the status quo. Your positive attitude and strong communication skills will enable you to effectively engage with clients and team members alike.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in software development, preferably in Data, Analytics, and Information Management platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge and working experience in the P&C Insurance domain, covering both Personal and Commercial Lines.
  • Subject matter expert in insurance and a champion of data management best practices.
  • Strong hands-on working knowledge of complex ELT, ETL, Cloud Computing, and programming languages.
  • Experience with Snowflake and building ELT/ETL for Data Vault and Dimensional Modeling structures.
  • Proficient in SQL for data testing, validation, and analysis.
  • Experience delivering projects using agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with scheduling/orchestration tools, creating wrapper scripts, and the CICD process.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience with complex Stored Procedures.
  • Preferable working experience with Streamsets, Matillion, or IICS.
  • Ability to manage multiple streams simultaneously and ensure delivery according to project plans.
