Responsibilities
•Forge and nurture strong relationships with customers through sound technical expertise, understanding their needs and ensuring their success with our products.
•Perform product installations and training at customer sites.
•Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including application guidance, troubleshooting, maintenance, system upgrades and repairs.
•Keep a pulse on industry trends and market updates and customer feedback to align our product strategy with user needs and expectations.
•Collaborate closely with our Research & Development (R&D) team to refine product design and enhance functionality, based on customer feedback and market insights.
•Be willing and prepared to travel up to 50%, adapting to various work environments and cultures.
•Work closely with our sales team, bolstering their efforts through strategic support and fostering seamless communication and collaboration.
•Host customer meetings & webinars for training and technology education.
Qualifications
•B.S. in Biology, or a related field. (Advanced degree in sciences relevant to Biotech & Biopharma preferred)
•Experience in field application scientist role for analytical instruments in biopharma
•Exceptional communication skills, logical reasoning and writing capabilities
•Robust organizational talents, with a proven track record of adhering to busy schedules and multi-tasking
•Candidates with prior experience in biotechnology instrument technical support or applications and have experience working on Exosome/ Extracellular Vesicles will be given preference
•Adept at working collaboratively with team members and customers across diverse cultural backgrounds and geographies
•The position is to be field based from east coast - candidate preferably short drive from Boston and New York
