Accounting Manager

Exodus Recovery, Inc is looking for an Accounting Supervisor who will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records for Exodus including accounts receivable and account payable operations.

Requirements:

• Five or more years of advanced accounting experience in areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, account analysis, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and other GL accounting software packages, and applications.
• Ability to work independently demonstrating mature judgment, prioritize and organize multiple projects.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Duties

• Responsible for direct supervision of the daily and monthly tasks of the accounting staff including hours approval, PTO etc.
• Responsible for input to the annual performance reviews for direct staff.
• Oversee account allocations, journal entries, account analysis, American Express Reconciliation, payroll allocation input
• Responsible for monthly cost report review and submission for all Counties
• Prepare Monthly AR report and follow-up on overdue payments
• Responsible for weekly bank balance reports, bank deposits and deposit logs for all entities checking accounts
• Responsible for Bi-weekly PR Coverage including electronic transfers etc.
• Assist with monthly cash flow management
• Responsible for business and property tax returns and business licenses.
• Responsible for accounting and maintaining the fixed asset system including additions and disposals; maintaining asset and depreciation reports and reconciliations.
• Responsible for the development and review of complex financial and account reporting requirements, including preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting including Income Statement Review & Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Provides analyses of financial data needed in fiscal and budgetary planning.
• Assist with managing document request for all audits
• Has an integral role in FY & CY year-end audit.
• Responsible for maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
• Acting as lead in the Controller’s absence.
• Maintenance of assigned corporations accounting records within general accounting principles as per established procedures.

Commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
