PositionThe Logistics Coordinator will complete all steps for shipping materials into and out of Exotech. This includes: coordinating with sales/suppliers to gather all logistics information, bidding to all freight brokers, receiving/analyzing quotes and awarding shipments, emailing documents, coordinating pickup for inbound materials, labeling packages, giving instructions to shipping staff for outbound materials, managing daily tracking of all inbound/outbound shipments, updating internal software, accepting inbound shipments/packages, verifying paperwork, and driving a forklift.

PositionThe Logistics Coordinator will complete all steps for shipping materials into and out of Exotech. Compensation, Benefits, Schedule, and Location
- Compensation: The salary range is $22 to $25/hour Generous Bonus
- Benefits: Paid time off, medical insurance, life insurance and short-term disability insurance is covered at 100% for the employee, vision, dental, and long-term disability insurance, and 401k employer matching up to 4% of salary
- Schedule: Regular work hours are generally 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with flexibility
- Location: This position requires the Logistics Coordinator to work from the production warehouse in Pompano Beach, FL.
- Request and retrieve quotes with domestic Carriers and international freight forwarders
- Book domestic shipments and complete paperwork on carrier portals
- Communicate with freight forwarders to ensure handling, booking and processing of international shipments
- Ensure handling and processing of import shipments including ISF submission, file documentation compliance with customs broker
- Handling and tracking outgoing and incoming shipments (LCL, FCL, Parcel, Import & Export Shipments)
- Generate bill of lading, labels for all outgoing and incoming shipments, and complete all necessary documentation
- Manage the flow and status of all import shipments to ensure timely delivery to meet scheduled production commitment dates
- Monitor shipment status of Domestic, imports, and exports during transport and ensure information is up to date on a daily basis in the shipping system
- Assist inventory team by updating internal software on a daily basis
- Complete all shipping and receiving steps in the shipping system
- Package and ship small orders, samples, and supplies
- Accept parcel packages and notify the appropriate staff upon arrival
- Order necessary shipping supplies
- Drive a forklift and assist with loading and unloading shipments
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 3 years of logistics experience
- Thorough knowledge of shipping Incoterms is required
- Attention to detail with an ability to learn quickly, good organizational skills a must, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Excellent organization and time management skill
- Must be able to speak, read and write fluent English as well as speak and read Spanish
- Knowledge of Truck, Ocean, and Air freight required (Freight Forwarding and Logistics Background)
- Basic level of computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to problem solve and interact with all levels of management
- Previous experience driving a forklift is required
- Ability to complete basic mathematical functions
- Must be able to pivot between multiple tasks, work in a high pace environment, and balance priorities
