Your work environment at EXP

The Sr. Manager – Energy Justice and Equity at EXP will play a pivotal role in advancing the company's mission of creating sustainable solutions for a better world while ensuring justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) are integrated into all aspects of our work. This position will lead proactive efforts to integrate JEDI principles into the organization’s practices, programs, and services, while also driving initiatives focused on energy efficiency, sustainability, and decarbonization to further EXP's commitment to environmental stewardship.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Lead proactive efforts to integrate justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion into the organization’s practices, programs, and services.
• Accelerate programmatic efforts to increase focus on justice and equity, advising on projects, proposals, and initiatives.
• Manage the external presence of the Justice and Equity unit, communicating with external audiences and developing strategic partnerships.
• Guide and direct organizational DEI and culture work, including identifying and rolling out staff trainings and conducting assessments.
• Lead energy efficiency, sustainability, and decarbonization initiatives, identifying opportunities for reducing energy consumption and promoting renewable energy solutions. 
• Provide practical leadership on advancing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion within the clean energy sector.

 What your experience looks like

• Master’s degree or higher 
• 5 years of experience in related fields with a focus on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, energy efficiency, sustainability, or decarbonization 
• Proven track record of leadership and strategic thinking
•  Strong interpersonal and communication skills
