EXPANDING HORIZONS is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Woodside, NY

EXPANDING HORIZONS INSTITUTE SEEKING STUDENTS TO TAKE HOME HEALTH AIDE OR PERSONAL CARE AIDE CLASSES

WEEKEND CLASSES ARE STARTING JUNE 1ST, 2024

EMPLOYMENT POSSIBILITIES AFTER COMPLETING CLASSES WITH AGENCY CAREPRO.

Expanding Horizons and CarePro of NY are seeking English speaking HHA and PCA students to hire after class completion.

Enrollment and Classes take place at 6019 Roosevelt Ave, Woodside, NY 11377.

HHA (Home and Health Aid) and PCA (Patient Care Assistant) Classes are starting June 1st, 2024

PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT classes have a duration of 7 days, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS, 10am to 4pm. Tuition of $300.

HOME HEALTH AIDE Classes have a duration of 12 days, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS, 10am to 4pm. Tuition of $650.

HHA Tuition includes:

-Registration Fee

-Uniform

-Home health aide textbook

The last day to sign up for classes is May 31st , 2024.

Requirements:

  • Social security (IF APPLICABLE)
  • Identification
  • Highschool Diploma or G.E.D (If you haven't completed high school or GED, a test is given by expanding horizons instead or if completed in another county we provide a high school declaration paper for you to notarize.)

Once classes are completed and you have received your certificate, Our work agency will help you with job placement if there are cases similar to your availability.

Pay: $18.83 - $21.00 per hour
