Expect Hope in Parker, CO is looking for one nonprofit administrative associate to join our 9 person strong team. We are located on 10461 S Parker Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working.

Expect Hope:

Expect Hope is a Christian faith based international humanitarian organization headquartered in Parker, Colorado. Expect Hope is dedicated to seeing a world in which every child is freed from injustice and given a future full of hope. Expect Hope’s efforts are focused internationally in countries outside of the United States. Since 2015, Expect Hope has supported over 1000 children on a sustainable basis by providing food, clothing, shelter, access to healthcare, and love to children in Albania, Nepal, India, the Philippines, and Mexico.

The Role:

Expect Hope is searching for a dynamic professional for the position of Administrative Associate to assist in the management and administrative coordination of Expect Hope’s Child Sponsorship program and Donor Relations. The child sponsorship program relies on private donors who partner with Expect Hope to provide ongoing support for food, clothing, shelter, access to healthcare, and love facilitated by monthly donations.

The Nonprofit Administrative Associate will assist Expect Hope directors in managing donor profiles, coordinating quarterly communication such as letters and photographs to and from sponsors, and communicating with international directors to help facilitate the operation of the child sponsorship program, with focus given to the documentation of children from the program. This position is part-time with the potential to grow into full-time.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • College diploma or relevant experience preferred
  • Administrative experience (2 years)
  • Outgoing and compassionate personality with a passion for donor services
  • Confident and friendly on phone calls
  • Database management across different platforms including CRMs and Financial
  • Skills in customer/donor services
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Open to travel internationally

Experience:

  • 2 or more years of nonprofit administrative experience is preferred
  • Customer/Donor services experience
  • Experience in international travel or missions preferred
  • Fundraising experience

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Expect Hope and the Executive Directors across a range of duties such as donor relationship management, record keeping, fund disbursement reports, and program audits.
  • Master the use of REACH donor CRM for all donor profiles, child sponsorships including entry and dismissal, donation records, and campaign performance reports.
  • Process and ledger donations.
  • Communicate via outgoing and incoming calls with supporters and constituents of Expect Hope.
  • Coordinate quarterly connections between sponsors and their sponsored child (collecting letters, coordinating translations, collecting photos, and assembling mailers to sponsors.)
  • Assist on physical mail communications with donors.
  • Coordinate volunteer activities for current and future local volunteer base.
  • Communicate with International Directors regarding project requirements and progress updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of quarterly fund disbursements.
  • Maintain accurate records of child sponsorships including entering and dismissing sponsored children, attaching donors with their sponsored children, and updating sponsors on the status of their sponsored children.
  • Assist in the creation of new child sponsorship packets when needed.
  • Assist at fundraising events such as the annual Hope Ball and sponsorship events (some weekends required).
  • Recuperate missed donations with donors.
  • Assist in cultivating a dedicated and growing donor base by communicating with donors about Expect Hope programs and their impact.
  • Assist in gathering and coordinating necessary documentation for international group trips.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Compensation is $20.00 - $25.00/hour.
