Performance Marketing Manager, Apps
Are you passionate about travel and do you want to work with a hardworking and capable team to drive Expedia Group's fastest growing platform? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in our Mobile App Marketing team! Join us as a Performance Marketing Manager to shape Expedia’s app strategy.
Mobile is a strategic area of growth for Expedia Group with App transactions outpacing industry growth. In this role, you will use your performance marketing knowledge and analytical horsepower to help drive our paid app acquisition strategy globally across the portfolio of brands to achieve ambitious growth targets. You will manage a substantial marketing budget effectively to grow our app user base and increase the user engagement and transactions.
What you’ll do:
Define and drive the execution of Expedia Group’s mobile apps acquisition strategy
Maintain a high attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize multiple, contending priorities simultaneously
Own, optimize and scale a multimillion-dollar performance marketing practice while ensuring new pockets of growth are uncovered
Lead and optimize Apple Search Ads and/or Google Ads campaigns to meet the growth targets and performance goal
Extract insights on data to see beyond the numbers and identify patterns to improve results
Create insightful reporting in a timely and concise way that equips teams to make the right business decisions
Build and maintain relationships with key partners most notably Apple and Google to optimize the value generated from these platforms and ecosystems
Identify new opportunities to influence and drive our mobile objectives
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree or higher with analytical focus (Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, etc.) or any other related fields; or equivalent related professional experience
5 years of experience in a fast-paced and highly analytical environment
A strong understanding of digital marketing and optimization. Sophisticated hands-on knowledge of performance marketing channels
Deep understanding of mobile app ecosystem and technology preferred
Proficient in MS Excel; basic to intermediate SQL skills preferred
Comfortable with marketing tools i.e., Marketo, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, major ad platforms, and experience with BI tools i.e., Tableau
Experience presenting complex content to varied, often senior, internal, and external groups
Collaborative individual with excellent interpersonal skills to establish relationships across functional areas with both internal and external partners
Creative problem-solving skills. Able to address problems, build strategic frameworks and implement the solutions
A bias towards action: You like to get things done, and you can analyze information, provide clarity back to the business and take ownership of outcomes
