Typical Workday Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of two other accountants managing commercial properties.
• Prepare and review journal entries.
• Conduct weekly cash analysis.
• Handle ad hoc reporting needs.
• Review and/or create real estate accounting transactions and generate various financial reports and statements.
• Understand client requirements to ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting.
• Prepare and oversee advanced level financial statement packages, including creating and posting journal entries, recording cash receipts and expense payables, and preparing and submitting funding requests.
• Partner with field and account management teams to meet client requirements and terms.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4 years in Real Estate Accounting (Commercial Accounting preferred).
• Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
• Systems/Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Office Suite and Yardi experience required.
• Certifications/Licenses: Not applicable.
