An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager, based in our Netherlands office. This person will support our European region with strong focus on quality and is a member of the global Supplier Management team. The Procurement Manager reports to the Team Lead Suppler Management (Europe) who is based in the Amsterdam office. As a Procurement Manager you will be responsible for managing complex supplier partner contracts and relationships across multiple markets. Your main responsibility is to optimize and execute the assigned procurement processes. You will deliver against company objectives related to supplier quality, contractual/operationally and cost avoidance. You will systematically review purchasing and process practices to effectively translate the strategic sourcing into action.

The Procurement Manager ensures a strong focus on quality and provides subject matter expertise to the European procurement team and are a trusted consultant for regional sales solutions on regional procurement options.

Main area of focus is on Telecom Internet services such as Broadband Internet Access, Dedicated Internet Access, Local Access, Equipment, Software License and professional services.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and improve operational and commercial supplier performance;

• Analyze provider data to determine points to improve to boost quality;

• Contract management and compliance.

• Optimize Expereo’s cost position during the full-service lifecycle;

• Keep track of new developments in terms of available service technologies, pricing, service levels, and regulatory environment;

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience; excellent analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize work to the needs of the business;

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels;

• Have the desire to learn business processes, strategy and “big picture” thinking;

• Comfortable in a high-paced dynamic, work environment;

• Excellent command of the English language; German language is a plus;

• Knowledge of and experience within the European Telecommunication market is a plus.

• Understanding of Salesforce software to manager supplier is a plus
