Administrative Assistant 1
Location: Reston, VA (Onsite Assigned)
Number of Openings: 1
Contract Duration: 18 months
Pay Rate: $18-$22 per hour
Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, PTO, 401k Savings Program
Work Schedule: Part-Time, Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week (potential for hybrid, with at least 3 days onsite)

Job Summary:
Our globally recognized technology Client is seeking a proactive and organized Vendor Group Business Admin to join their team in Reston, VA. This is a part-time role with potential for a hybrid work arrangement. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential team support, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience for employees. This position offers growth opportunities and the chance to take on more significant responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Executive Business Administrator (EBA) to offer comprehensive team support for the East Coast team.
  • Coordinate and prepare team events, off-sites, and cross-group collaborations.
  • Manage catering for onsite or virtual meetings and handle conference room bookings.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires, including equipment setup, office arrangement, and clean-out procedures.
  • Manage asset tracking, equipment custodians, cost centers, and allocation details.
  • Procure, manage, and distribute Secure Admin Workstations (SAW) requests for the entire team.
  • Maintain proactive communication and collaboration with the EBA to ensure smooth operations.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, demonstrate enthusiasm for learning, and tackle challenges with innovation.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated work experience in a fast-paced administrative capacity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft productivity software: Word, Outlook, Excel, OneNote, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with MS Tools like Employee Central, ICIMS, HR Insights, MyOrder, etc.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally across all levels of the organization.
  • Resourcefulness and adaptability in handling ambiguous situations and prioritizing tasks.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and the capability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • US citizenship is mandatory due to security requirements.
  • Capable of lifting and moving standard office equipment (minimum of 35 lbs.).
