Job Title: Transmission Line Engineer Location: Denver, COPay Range: $80,000-$135,000What’s the Job?This position is responsible for independently performing detailed electrical engineering design on a variety of engineering tasks; performing engineering tasks on multiple small to medium sized projects with a moderate to difficult level of technical difficulty; performing most assignments independently with instructions as to the general results expected; receiving technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects; supervising other engineers or drafters/designers on assigned work.

What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university (Engineer) or appropriate technical degree or related experience (Specialist)
- Substation design and engineering experience is preferred. This includes plans, sections and details, auxiliary systems, grounding, one lines, three lines, relay wiring, schematics, equipment specifications, calculations and bills of material.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience with at least 3 years of work experience in the Electric industry or a related industry. At least 3 years of the work experience must be at an Electric operating company or at an engineering consulting firm
- Ability to build relationships with clients and staff members
- Developing industry contacts and knowledge of the industry
