Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser to join our company. The Purchaser will be responsible for managing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and analytical skills to perform Inventory Management, Purchasing Planning and Forecasting. Import/Export or freight forwarding experience preferred. Proficient in MS Office. Fluent in English, bilingual in Chinese is required. Salary is based on experience, education, and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Request quotes and issue POs to overseas manufacturers
• Track and expedite open orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate outbound and inbound deliveries
• Verify receipt of orders and work with vendors to resolve shortages or discrepancies against the original PO
• Collaborate with vendors to facilitate returns and exchanges in a timely manner
• Build and maintain positive working partnerships with vendors
• Perform inventory count and inventory control to determine purchase amount
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Chinese
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
