What You’ll Do
As a Business Development Representative at Bellwether, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, prospecting potential clients, making cold calls, and booking meetings to discuss our range of Managed IT Services. You will be a core member of our Sales team, directly impacting Bellwether's growth and success.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
Your day will be filled with outreach activities, including researching potential clients, making cold calls, sending personalized emails, and following up on leads. You'll be booking meetings with prospective clients to discuss how Bellwether's services can address their IT needs. Networking will be a part of your routine, cultivating relationships that can lead to potential business opportunities.
What Ramp Up Looks Like
During your first few months, you'll be immersed in learning about Bellwether's services, our sales process, and our client base. You'll be paired with a mentor who will guide you through your initial sales calls and meetings. You'll attend training and become familiarized with our tools and internal processes.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means you are consistently meeting or exceeding your targets for calls made, meetings booked, and leads converted. You're building strong relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor for all their IT needs. Your efforts directly contribute to Bellwether's growth and profitability.

A good fit for this role is someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships. You are results-driven, self-motivated, and have a resilient attitude. Previous experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the IT or Managed Services industry, is a plus.
