Position Summary:**
Join our dynamic team as a Assembler III, where you'll play a vital role in assembling and installing high voltage wiring, small parts, capacitors, switches, and related components into cabinets. Under moderate supervision, you'll bring your expertise to fabricate various sub-assemblies and perform other essential tasks as required. With the ability to read and understand drawings, you'll initiate and complete tasks with precision and accuracy.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**As a key member of our assembly team, you'll:
- Collaborate closely with other skilled assemblers to consistently meet quality and production standards.
- Utilize your expertise to assist sheet metal, grinding, and welding work crews as needed, ensuring seamless workflow.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating forklifts to move pallets and cabinets, assembling capacitor racks, and installing various components such as oil switches, copper fuse holders, insulation, mountings, porcelain, links, and louver covers.
- Exercise precision and attention to detail in tasks such as drilling and installing glastic fittings, building transformer brackets, and verifying correct clearances and hole diameters based on blueprints.
- Showcase your versatility by operating a range of tools and equipment including air sanders, mini-punches, notches, grinders, band saws, impact wrenches, ratchets, and small hand tools.
- Take ownership of assembling small hardware parts, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the upkeep of the work area.
- Play a supportive role in assisting the lead assembler in training and preparing workstations for upcoming jobs, demonstrating your commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Exhibit independence and initiative in carrying out tasks with minimal supervision, showcasing your reliability and dedication to excellence.
