Monday - Thursday, 6:00AM - 3:30PM.
Responsibilities:
- Machinery Operation: Manage and operate machines for precision shaping and processing of metal or plastic materials.
- Specification Verification: Measure completed pieces with precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to confirm product specifications.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect finished products for imperfections and sort defective pieces accordingly.
- Machine Adjustment: Adjust machine settings, change tooling, and fine-tune components to maximize production efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor machine performance, record operational data, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Testing and Adjustments: Conduct tests and adjust machine speeds and actions based on product requirements.
- Tooling Installation: Install, align, and secure tooling fixtures using precision instruments and hand tools.
- Work Order Interpretation: Interpret work orders and production schedules to determine material specifications, cutting locations, and dimensional tolerances.
- Workpiece Securing: Use fixtures and measuring devices to secure workpieces, ensuring precise positioning.
- Material Loading: Load materials into machines and ensure proper setup before beginning operations.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and identify any maintenance needs.
- Product Labeling: Accurately label finished products with identifying information.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Machine Monitoring: Monitor machine indicators to ensure proper operation.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and control machinery effectively.
- Quality Testing: Conduct quality tests and inspections.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve operational errors and troubleshoot issues.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience operating machinery for shaping metal.
- Product Conversion Knowledge: Understanding of product conversion principles and practices.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
