Local Food Manufacturing Facility is seeking qualified Maintenance Technicians to join their team in Lawrence, MA.
Starting Rate: $30.00/Hr
Schedule: 2nd & 3rd shifts- including weekends
- 2nd shift: 1:00pm-9:30pm
- 3rd shift: 9:00pm-5:30am
Maintenance Technician Job Summary:
Provides repair support to production lines, performs preventative maintenance, monitors systems such as the steam boiler, ammonia refrigeration, nitrogen freezing, spiral freezers, gas-fired tunnel ovens, product metal detection, air compressors, and HVAC.
Maintenance Technician Job Duties:
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Prepares and sets up machinery for production runs.
- Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Comply with OSHA Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices and food defense guidelines
Maintenance Technician Skills & Requirements:
- 3 years experience working with packing/production machines
- Previous experience working with high-speed equipment in a food manufacturing environment
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
