Software Upgrade SpecialistExpert Technical Solutions has an immediate, HYBRID (3 days a week onsite: Tuesday – Thursday) opening for a Software Upgrade Specialist for one of our premier clients based out of St Charles, Missouri ( 63303 ). This person will be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience while implementing upgrades on our client’s software products.
This is a permanent position offering competitive salary and excellent benefits.

- Fulfill all aspects of upgrading a customer’s oncology information system (OIS), including: determining if a customer site is ready for an upgrade, planning for the upgrade, implementing new OIS software and testing after upgrade to ensure full functionality.
- Analyze and define the process, assets and steps necessary to complete a successful upgrade.
- Answer questions, provide expertise and keep the customer informed throughout the upgrade process.
- Exceedingly document all upgrade steps following our client’s quality, regulatory and safety policies.
- Ensure highly satisfied customers by taking responsibility for the successful completion of the OIS upgrade.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject; equivalent work experience will be considered
- 3 years’ experience working within the Healthcare industry required
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems (certification preferred)
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (certification preferred)
- Experience with high-availability system architecture
- Demonstrated experience with Citrix and related infrastructure and administration
- Familiarity/proficiency with the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, WebEx, and SalesForce
- Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology experience strongly preferred, but not required
- Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers (via phone and face-to-face)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated capability for decision making, sound judgment and assertiveness
- Weekend work will be required (eg: Tuesday - Saturday).
