Responsibilities
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to identify learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and other potential needs
- Interpret test results and write comprehensive reports to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Design and implement individual and group interventions to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Provide crisis intervention and mental health support to students in need
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective strategies for supporting student success
- Collaborate with school social workers, guidance counselors, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in school psychology
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments and interventions
- Master's Degree in School Psychology from an accredited university
- Certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Kentucky
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting (preferred)
