Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a Line Cook position with a very successful taco franchise company here located in the Sarasota, FL area.

Duties Include :

• Preparing ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and measuring ingredients.
• Cooking meals according to recipes or as directed by the chef.
• Operating kitchen equipment such as stoves, grills, ovens, and fryers.
• Monitoring food temperatures and ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed.
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of trash.
• Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Cook in a similar role.
• Must be bilingual (Spanish / English)
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
