Payroll Clerk - $17.00 / HOUR
A company in West El Paso needs a Payroll Clerk. The Payroll Clerk prepares pay for employees by calculating earnings and deductions.
The Clerk will issue checks and direct deposit payments.
The Payroll Clerk''s duties include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Compile, prepare, and enter payroll data using appropriate software to manage and maintain payroll records
- Process payroll using established guidelines and deadlines
- Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors
- Update master payroll records that affect net wages such as exemptions, insurance, and flexible spending accounts
- Prepare statements of earnings, hours worked, taxes, and deductions
- Print payroll reports
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
