We are looking for a trustworthy and skilled Staff Accountant for our Ft. Myers, FL location. The chosen candidate will be responsible for various accounting duties, including inventory management, job costing, and financial reconciliation. This role requires a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Monitor transactions, update general ledger, perform audits, and produce reports.
• Process Control: Develop/enhance inventory process controls, handle cycle counts, and coordinate physical inventory activities.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier invoice pricing with approved price lists and handle monthly fuel charges.
• Job Costing: Prepare daily material work orders and collaborate with Operations and Finance.
• Accounts Receivable: Assist with collection and month-end close tasks.
• Facilities Maintenance: Handle fleet management and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V Lookups, Pivot Tables) and Microsoft Office Applications. Experience with ERP software is a plus.
• Experience: Knowledge of accrual accounting, GAAP, reconciliation, and year-end finances. Experience with job costing in an ERP (Business Central is a plus).
• Qualities: Self-starter, team player, positive attitude, ability to take charge and handle various office tasks.
