Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a company in Ottawa, IL who is searching for a Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join their team! The EHS employee will work closely with levels of the plant and corporate organizations.

Salary/Hours:

• Salary: $20.00 - $25.00/hr
• Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Duties:

• Recordkeeping, permit and plan updates
• Monitoring, auditing and promptly addressing environmental activities
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of plant processes, equipment, positions, and generally accepted industrial practices

Requirements:

• EHS Expierence - Required
• Mining or Heavy Industrial Expierence
• Knowledge of standards, regulations, and permits
• Operations Expierence
