Our client is looking to hire full time to fill a contract to possible hire Inventory Control Analyst employee. This role will be Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm onsite.

Purpose of the Position:

To support the compliance and accountability side of Inventory functions and documentation. Utilize technology tools to reconcile inventory data and complete assigned tasks. Ensure timely and accurate entry of all inventory documentation and transactions. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision to successfully complete assigned tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory Control:

Know and work to the performance measures that are assigned to Supply Chain. Help to develop, deploy, and achieve.

Perform physical inventory of all products systematically and reconcile with computer inventory.

Conduct and maintain daily, weekly, end-of-month (EOM), and end-of-year (EOY) physical inventories

Perform and complete timely and accurate follow-through on inventory related issues, discrepancies, and reconcile to Ceres.

May be asked to Administrate Financial Month End Close.

Responsible for data entry of all required inventory activity

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of one (1) year or more experience in inventory control practices and procedures, including knowledge of receiving, inventory tracking, food storage, food handling, food safety and distribution practices. Experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.

Strong analytical and organization skills. Demonstrated ability to organize, plan and carry out activities to independently meet specific timelines and goals.

Ability to analyze, graph & present inventory reports and issues.

Ability to perform multiple duties with minimum supervision to meet specific timelines. Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrammatic forms.

Ability to make frequent changes of routine and pace of activity due to unpredictable constituent demands without loss of efficiency or composure.

Technical skills: Microsoft Office suite of programs, managing informational systems and working on relational databases. Knowledge of Ceres 5.1 is preferred.

Ability to maintain accurate records. Add, subtract, multiply and divide units of weight successfully, compute ratio, rate and percent. Write reports and record transactions with proper format and legibility.

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly - orally and in writing.
