Next Level Staffing is currently recruiting for a Saw Operator/General Laborer for a client located in the Pewaukee area.

TITLE Saw Operator / General Labor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Safely operate a variety of saw machines to cut material to specifications
• Operate company van to accomplish pickup and deliveries from and to suppliers
• Load and unload delivery van
• Operate overhead crane and forklift
• Assist in the tool crib to maintain inventory, issue tools to team members and ensure tools are safety stored and organized.
• Use basic measuring tools
• Assist the maintenance department coordinating relocation of scrap/chips
• Assist in building wooden crates for hydraulic work
• Work with other departments as needed

· Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one year operating a variety of saw machines in a manufacturing setting required

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to add, sub-tract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Ability to obtain certifications for forklift and overhead crane operation within 90 days of hire date

· Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple assignments
to meet deadline and goals despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles or time constraints
