Job Overview:

A local, well-performing, client is looking for skilled/dependable and hard-working Maintenance Tech’s. The client has SEVERAL openings, multiple shifts available, and are looking to interview candidates soon.

Job Description:

• Conducted routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnosed mechanical and electrical issues and implemented effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Performed preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule to prevent equipment failures and breakdowns.
• Utilized hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Assisted in the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment and machinery.
• Documented maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and equipment condition, in maintenance logs or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Maintained inventory of spare parts and supplies and ordered replacements as needed.
• Collaborated with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for equipment improvements and upgrades.
• Ensured compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Participated in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and maintenance best practices.
• Responded to emergency maintenance requests and performed repairs as needed to minimize production disruptions.
• Conducted regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Supported continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
• Communicated effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and external vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve issues.
