Express Kafeh has become a leader in the Mobile Espresso Catering business (Not kidding there’s an entire industry related to Gourmet Coffee at Events). We offer Experiential Hospitality solutions to our clients during their special events in the US/Canada and around Europe. What we do is simple, we are a catering company specializing in offering a full-service Mobile Espresso Bar experience.
We are seeking an energetic, organized, and creative individual to join our team. This position provides support in all aspects of events, such as corporate retreats, Conferences, Trade Shows, and Galas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to responding to inquiries, administrative tasks, event logistics, marketing, coordination, and travel management. Any previous experience in social media would certainly be positive!
The ideal candidate is extremely reliable and detail-oriented with sound judgment and willing to “roll up the sleeves” to do what is needed in situations while also maintaining a “big picture” strategic view and a positive attitude. This individual must enjoy working with people; have a customer-oriented focus; focus on timelines and deadlines and be able to take direction and constructive criticism well.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to express calm leadership in difficult situations.
- A can-do attitude, willingness to learn from others, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and proactively close out open items.
- Experience in hotels, convention centers, trade shows, event management, hospitality, or catering companies (A major plus)
- Book travel for full and part-time staff, including airfare, hotels, and ground transportation; coordinate and update show budgets and itineraries.
- Social Media management would be an incredible asset.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent guest service skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate contracts and manage budgets
- Proficient in Google Drive, Google Calendar
