This position will require the shop employee to drive often, deliver supplies and tools as needed to our field crews, so, a valid and clear CA driver’s license is required. Candidate will often be involved in moving materials and cleaning warehouse so the ability to lift 100 lbs. is a must. Opportunity for growth within.

Requirements:

The Shop Assistant is responsible for assisting the Operation, Project & other Managers to help carry out daily activities. Tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Be able to perform effectively in a team environment, as well as work efficiently on their own with minimal supervision.
• Possess strong communication skills to interact with different teams in their organization.
• Coordinate equipment needs with Operation & Project Managers by performing equipment inspections and routine washing
• Be able to operate and move various types of heavy equipment
• Service equipment, trucks, and small tools.
• Pick up and deliver parts, supplies and attachments.
• Keep shop and tools clean and organized
• Accept and process deliveries and shipments.
• Assist any employee with additional tasks.
• preparing materials and equipment for upcoming projects and receiving and restocking equipment and materials from finished projects
• Comply with all company safety policies
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

PREFERRED but not Required:

• Knowledge of shop safety and OSHA regulations.
• Bilingual in English-Spanish.
• Operate forklift

Job Type: Full-time Monday – Friday with the ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
