Position description:
This OTR position ensures drivers are home every other weekend for a 48-hour break, with the option to take the truck and trailer home during this time. The role involves no-touch freight, with a blend of live load/unload and drop/hook operations. Drivers can expect to earn between $1,400 to $1,900 weekly, depending on experience, with details discussed in a phone interview.
The driving routes may occasionally cover all 48 states, but the majority of freight is east of Texas, excluding force dispatch to NYC. Each run averages 700-750 miles, translating to 2,500-3,200 miles per week, potentially reaching up to 3,400 miles.
We have a rider and pet policy, with riders required to be at least 10 years old and a pet deposit in place with no breed or weight restrictions. After 30 days, drivers receive full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K through BCBS, with company matching up to 4% after 6 months.
Our fleet features brand-new 2021 Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth trucks equipped with refrigerators, 1500-watt inverters, APUs, microwaves, and TV mounts. Additionally, our referral program rewards drivers for referring new Class A CDL truck drivers.
