Individuals with compassion and willingness to service the needs of clients in the home
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to elderly or disabled individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises and range of motion activities
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a home health aide or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with senior care, and activities of daily living needs
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and techniques is beneficial for care of patients
- Experience working with individuals with memory care needs is desirable
Skills:
- Ability to clean and sanitize living areas effectively
- Proficient in using lifting equipment and techniques to safely move clients
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems or other documentation systems
This position requires compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills. Home Health Aides must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently while following care plans provided by healthcare professionals.
Ability to follow directions of Plan of Care, read and document on records accurately. Must pass Exams for competency of care, Pass Medical screen, possess Drivers License, CPR and background checks.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Contract
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
