Extensible IT Solutions is Hiring a Manager of Revenue Operations Near Colorado, CO

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated experience Manager of Revenue Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working in Revenue Operations. This role also requires experience and proficiency with accounting for revenue under US GAAP and ASC 606. Experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry and proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) are essential for this role. As a Manager of Revenue Operations, you will be a pivotal leader in providing strategic insights, financial guidance, and decision support to drive sales performance and revenue growth.

Reporting to the CFO, this role will have an indirect reporting line to our Chief Sales Officer, as well as supporting our CMO. This is a highly visible role for an experienced leader looking to serve multiple Executives.

    Deliverables and Performance Measures:

    Revenue Operations & Strategy

    • Analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement processes to increase productivity in sales, marketing, and customer experience.
    • Partner with the revenue leadership to translate go-to-market strategy into quarterly revenue operations plans, and with cross-functional teams to continuously improve our processes.
    • Partner with Chief Sales Officer on weekly reviews, monthly pipeline and sales capacity planning, and annual compensation design.
    • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales leadership to develop impactful training materials, presentations, and demos aligned with product updates, competitor insights, and market trends.
    • Orchestrate sales training efforts from onboarding to new product rollouts to sales skills development.
    • Partner with Client Delivery teams on project kick-offs and handoffs for new projects and escalations.
    • Responsible for running sales deal desk and assist sales team with determining different pricing techniques for various clients.
    • Responsible for renewal strategies and price increases.
    • Partner with the CMO to develop marketing strategies that support the sales strategies.

    Data Management, Analysis & Reporting

    • Measure performance against sales plans and track progress towards monthly, quarterly and annual targets across sales development and seller teams.
    • Create custom reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key business metrics and track progress against goals.
    • Develop and implement best practices for using Salesforce to support our business processes and ensure data integrity.
    • Build and maintain CRM data governance for effective revenue reporting between Finance, Product and Revenue teams.
    • Responsible for tracking and reporting on key sales and marketing KPIs.

    Revenue Accounting

    • Understanding of GAAP accounting under ASC 606 for revenue.
    • Perform monthly and quarterly revenue reforecasting.
    • Perform monthly and quarterly reporting for internal and external parties.
    • Investigate and analyze revenue trends and differences between budget and actual revenue results.
    • Partner with sales on trends in transactional revenue.

    Tech and Process Management

    • Evaluate, implement, and optimize tools used by revenue teams including Salesforce, Outreach and other sales/marketing technologies.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, training materials, and system diagram.
    • Manage user access and permissions, troubleshoot issues, and provide training and support to users as needed.
    • Present system updates and process changes to internal stakeholders in an effective and timely manner

      What will make you successful:

      • Minimum of 6 years of prior experience in providing reporting, analysis and/or metric-driven operations for revenue teams within a SaaS or B2B enterprise technology company.
      • Proven track record of success in leading operational improvement initiatives that impact revenue growth in an organization.
      • Salesforce Admin certification preferred.
      • Experience maintaining and driving further adoption of the CRM for a business required.
      • Experience collaborating cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Client Delivery and Finance
      • Highly metrics driven, with an insatiable appetite for data-driven decision-making.
      • Effective planning and prioritization skills to manage time effectively and accomplish tasks from across various leaders.
      • Problem-solver who applies critical thinking by generating, evaluating, and implementing ideas into solutions.
      • Clear expertise in sales-related technology stacks, such as Salesforce, Outreach and others, with demonstrated ability to tie technology implementations to ROI.

        Expected hours of Work:

        This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Friday.
