Oil and Gas Revenue Accountant

ExTex Division Order Services is seeking a full-time Revenue Accountant that is a hard worker, goal driven and success oriented. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment. In this position, the Revenue Accountant will have a wide range of experience in Revenue and an understanding of the full cycle of oil and gas accounting.

Responsibilities:

-Entering run tickets for crude oil on a daily or monthly basis

-Analyze oil and gas monthly pricing and deducts

-Gather, review and enter crude oil allocations

-Working with Clients to balance monthly volumes and values before running the monthly revenue process

-Participate in the monthly revenue process

-Corresponding with assigned Clients and Owners as well as the Tax, Title and Administrative groups within ExTex

-Maintain complete and accurate documentation of work assignments and processes in accordance with company policy

-Assist with other projects as needed

Requirements:

-Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas revenue accounting

-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

-Must be self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and be able to work with minimal supervision

-Ability to cooperate with all levels of employees, management, purchaser, operators, owners and external agencies

-Must be well organized with excellent analytical and communication skills

-Ability to meet deadlines

-Possess strong analytical and communication skills

-Must take initiative with the ability to adjust to shifting priorities

-Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills; accuracy and timeliness are essential
