The Role

We are seeking an independent, creative, and strategic Product / Design Lead with a track record of building engaging user experiences, ideally for products that combine both hardware and software or a combination of physical and digital experiences. 

We seek someone who can think holistically about the entire product experience end-to-end and deeply understand how our users think. You will own the direction of our user-facing products, focusing on crafting experiences that leave our users amazed. We need to ensure that our products are not just functional but also user-friendly and enjoyable.

Responsibilities include aligning internal and external resources for architecting product design, interactive hardware UI/UX, user research and studies, defining the ICP, UI flow design, providing direction on industrial design, development of digital graphics, and software specification development for the engineering team. 

The Product Design Lead will work directly with our CEO and CTO to refine and release Eyebot’s groundbreaking products and services. The position is onsite and located at our headquarters near the North End waterfront in Boston. Tons of great restaurants and lunch spots nearby!

Your background

• Prior experience in a startup environment is highly desirable. We’re looking for generalists excited about taking on responsibilities outside their core role. 
• Proficient in owning the architecture and creative direction of the user facing side of hardware/software combination products.
• Experience with storyboarding, personas, user research, interaction design, and UI/UX.
• Expert using Figma and related tools.
• Have brought at least one product into consumer’s hands from start to finish, and show an impressive portfolio of products and/or accomplishments.
• Experience in the health and wellness sector is a big plus, but not required.
• Flexible team player with a collaborative spirit.
• Being quirky is a big plus - because we are too.
