We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Provider Engagement Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering positive relationships with healthcare providers to enhance collaboration, streamline communication, and ultimately increase productivity levels. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of medical practices, and the ability to strategize and implement initiatives to support doctors in achieving their professional goals.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to understand their needs, preferences, and challenges.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for doctors, addressing inquiries, providing support, and facilitating communication between healthcare providers and relevant departments within the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, finance, revenue cycle and administration, to develop targeted strategies and initiatives to support doctors in increasing productivity levels.
  • Coordinate educational opportunities, training sessions, and workshops to enhance doctors' skills, knowledge, and efficiency in delivering patient care.
  • Conduct regular meetings with doctors to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans to address concerns or barriers to productivity.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and advancements in healthcare technology to provide doctors with relevant information and resources.
  • Analyze data and metrics related to doctor productivity, patient outcomes, and satisfaction levels to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as an advocate for doctors within the organization, advocating for resources, support, and recognition to promote their success and well-being.
  • Act as a liaison between doctors and external stakeholders, such as insurance providers, referral networks, and community organizations, to facilitate seamless patient care and collaboration.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and professional meetings to promote awareness of services, build relationships with healthcare providers, and identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in healthcare administration, physician relations, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret metrics and trends.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed and work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate doctor schedules and events.
