The primary responsibility of a Medical Assistant are screening the patient, special testing (visual fields, OCT, and optomap). Keeping the doctor on time with their busy schedule. Answering phone calls, triage of patients concerns, coordination of care, and helping cover the front desk. This is a fast paced environment with an excellent team! Medical Assistants are eligible for CPO certification after the first year.
