Experience in medical billing, especially in the field of ophthalmology, is a must, and your thorough knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCs, and HIPAA will be essential in this role.
This position is self-directed, and you must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and thoroughly understand medical practice operations. You will be responsible for processing claims and payments and working on claim rejections and denials, all while providing excellent customer service and maintaining complete confidentiality as required by law. Additionally, your ability to prepare monthly reports for management and handle special projects as needed will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
