Responsibilities
The Business Development/Sales Associate will:
- Research potential business opportunities and analyze market segments within the charter bus and transportation industry
- Conduct research on competitors' products and services.
- Create and oversee marketing campaigns through social media and collaborate with our marketing department.
- Develop and submit RFPs for prospective contract opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts with the clients.
- Develop and foster relationships with new and existing clients.
- Attend conferences related to the transportation industry.
Marketing and Business Development Associate Requirements / Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- 1-2 years of paid work experience in a sales or business development role. Will consider entry-level candidates who have had paid or nonpaid internship experience.
- Must possess a creative approach to sales and marketing.
- Motivated, independent thinker
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong knowledge of marketing and useability with social media platforms
