EZ WAY is Hiring an Equipment Technician Near Minneapolis, MN
The technician will complete a weekly schedule as provided by the Safety Program Coordinator (SPC). This is provided at least one week in advance. The technician will complete and submit to the SPC, all paperwork, including completed checklists for each unit and a listing of parts installed by the end of each work week.
Technicians drive a service van provided by EZ Way which is stocked with the appropriate tools and replacement parts needed to perform the work. The technician is responsible for maintaining an inventory of common replacement parts and reporting usage/sale of these parts on a weekly basis. The technician will complete and submit a regular inventory of parts to assist in replenishment schedules. Regular visits to EZ Way headquarters will occur to rotate stock and verify inventory counts.
The technician will maintain a professional appearance when visiting customers. Clothes and shoes should be free of holes, tears, and stains and should fit properly. Long pants are required. Jeans, work pants, cargo pants and dress pants are all acceptable. EZ Way logo shirts will be provided.
This is an hourly position. The technician will track his/her start and stop times as well as the location of the work being done. Applicable state taxes will be payroll deducted for each state where work is performed. It is the responsibility of the technician to file individual state tax returns. This is an hourly position with an hourly wage determined by skill and experience. Requirements:
- Previous medical/healthcare-related equipment technician experience is a plus
- Professional, polished, and motivated
- Great communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Proficient with iPhone, iPad, Word, and Excel
- 85% travel to cover territory
- Up-to-date vaccination records, including COVID-19
- Good driving record & valid driver's license
- Pre-employment drug test required
