Job Summary

We are looking for friendly, detail-oriented, hardworking individuals to deliver our high-quality cannabis products to cannabis dispensaries all over New York State in company-owned vehicles. NYHO’s distribution department is growing and needs quality drivers who can follow an assigned route, pay close attention to detail, and conduct themselves professionally at all times while offering excellent customer service to dispensary owners and personnel. This position will work variable hours and shifts and must be available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 6 am and 7 pm, depending on the delivery schedule.

Responsibilities & Focus

• Pick, pack, and review for accuracy orders from inventory
• Load and unload goods to and from the delivery vehicle
• Maintain compliant paperwork for deliveries
• Practice safe driving at all times, along prescribed routes to make scheduled deliveries to dispensaries all over New York State
• Develop and support positive relationships with dispensary owners and personnel

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid, NYS driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation
• Clean driving record
• Flexibility–must have the ability to work irregular hours Monday through Friday, including some 6 am to 7 pm shifts, on a regular basis
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, and place over 50 lbs repetitively, loading and unloading vehicles, in outdoor weather conditions
• Proven ability to confidently drive in all environments, including in NYC
• Must be comfortable driving, parking, and navigating in busy urban areas such as the New York City metropolitan area
• Must possess a keen eye for detail and ability to follow directions
• Maintains awareness of one’s surroundings at all times
• Basic vehicle troubleshooting knowledge
• Must be trustworthy and reliable, responsible for company property and all product
• Must be a problem solver, in the event of unexpected circumstances while delivering
• Clean, professional appearance and a calm, customer service-oriented demeanor

Education / Experience

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 1 years of delivery experience desired
• Experience picking and packing orders is a plus
