F.C. Dadson is Hiring a Machine Operator: CNC Near Greenville, WI
Our CNC Operators facilitate our manufacturing process, uphold quality and safety standards, and manage equipment and supplies. This includes CAD programming, machine setup, operation, and machine maintenance. This position requires careful understanding of milling strategies and an ability to develop and implement new production and tooling methods.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances
- Makes adjustments to the machines and their controls as required. Load the machine with CNC programs, make machine adjustments (offsets), run program, etc.
- Machine setup
- Loading/unloading sheet stock
- Machine operation
- Performs within time and safety standards
- Utilizes total quality control concept and procedures by using appropriate measuring and inspection instruments to ensure parts are within required tolerance
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions and calling for repairs
Skills and Experience:
- Experience programming in AutoCAD
- Experience with CNC setup, operation, and maintenance
- Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of tooling and processes
- Hardworking, focused, and reliable
- Ability to clearly communicate
