Job Summary:

This position's primary duties are to scan and index all loan documents, post-closing review, exception tracking, and maintaining property insurance for all types of loan collateral.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure that loan documents are scanned and indexed in accordance with bank guidelines, and ensure that all documents are properly executed
• Reviews TE's (technical exceptions) upon scanning of documentation, researches and clears when applicable
• Perform limited post-closing review for necessary documents
• Maintains original bank defined documents
• Works all incoming property insurance
• Works existing property insurance TE's and other TE's as assigned
• Has the ability to handle moderately complex issues/problems; refers more complex issues to senior staff
• May assist with training other employees in the department
• Ability to communicate well with various levels
• Provides support for other functions or roles

Additional Functions:

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements (Education, Experience):

• High School Diploma
• 2 years experience in consumer and commercial lending practices with basic knowledge of loan system

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Working knowledge experience with computer systems; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong sense of customer service.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task

Physical Requirements:

This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:

• Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Normal office environment.
