F. Schumacher & Co., America’s leading name for manufacturing and distributing fabric, wall covering, floorcovering and furnishings is seeking an enthusiastic leader for the Receiving dept. This person will be the lead of an integral team responsible for receiving at our distribution center.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Responsible for ensuring coordination with Logistics for time and location of truck arrival
• Leading the receiving team in unloading and loading of trucks and accountability of materials.
• Ensure all incoming materials are broken down, identified correctly, tagged and moved to put up within 48 hours.
• Work with Supervisor and receiving clerk to identify items that need to be addressed and the time constraint.
• Train personnel on the receiving process
• Ensure all material that passes through the receiving department is of the highest standard, never be afraid to hold material for QA inspection if you believe there may be an issue.
• Speak your mind – If there is a better way to make it happen or equipment that could improve the process always know that you are heard and encouraged to bring those ideas to the table.
• M-F 7:30am – 4:00pm (Summer hours - 6 - 2:30pm)

• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, GP/Salespad a plus)
• Organized
• Comfortable operating a Forklift and Order Picker
