Title: Key Account Project Manager
We are a leading global manufacturer of electrical interconnects and power distribution solutions. Our North American Headquarters is located in Central New Jersey directly off Route 287 is where we maintain significant “on-time” inventory of electrical interconnects that are produced in our factory in Germany. In addition, we are a UL Listed assembly operation that manufactures portable power distribution, control panels, and power cable assemblies. Due to our rapid growth and expansion,we are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Key Account Project Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a strong relationship with a “key” client to ensure their complete satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, be well organized, and be able to collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet client needs.
Responsibilities & Job Function:
Data Management:
· Own and regularly maintain customer and projects related data input into company’s ERP systems and shared documents.
· Provide scheduled reporting to management on key subjects relating to project pipeline updates, deviations from plan, cost impacts.
· Maintain data input in customer’s systems – tendering, on-site date information, production and delivery schedules, and other online systems that the customer intends to implement
Participate in Customer Meetings:
· Participate in scheduled customer meetings and provide relevant input. Such meetings may require online or on-site presence.
· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through regular communication, meetings, and presentations.
Customer Communication:
· Serve as the primary internal point of contact for assigned client, understand the client’s needs, objectives, and challenges.
· Prepare and submit Tender Quotations in accordance with customer policy.
· Prepare and submit necessary disclosures i.e., compliance questionnaires, environment, OSHA etc.
· Accurately exchange information with customer on the subjects of, project pipeline and project delivery and changes of delivery dates
Project Delivery Management:
· Initiate and maintain series of internal meetings to co-ordinate project deliveries.
· Duly maintain Delivery Schedule document – make sure information is up to date and reflect latest Project information –
· Create a “Project Pipeline” document for Company’s Management and Finance Manager
Quality Feedback Management:
· Timely management of any quality issues – arrange delivery of replacement products internally.
· Initiate Quality Feedback – Root cause analysis internally. Communication with quality control department is necessary.
Invoicing:
· Ensure policy compliant invoice submittals to customer.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
· Proven experience in account management, client relationship management, or a related field.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with client.
· Strong problem-solving abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
· Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with the client.
