F2ONSITE is Hiring a Data Center Operations Technician Near Ashburn, VA
- 1 year assigment
- Support 2 locations within short drive (less than 2 miles)
- Hours - Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET
- Support after hours services as scheduled or in a break/fix requirement.
- Full-time 40 hours a week
- Tools Required - Technician to provide Basic toolkit and laptop.
- Maintain proper documentation daily via customer's utilized infrastructure management applications.
- Uphold, maintain, and enforce the processes set forth by the Data Center Infrastructure Management team.
- Maintain onsite the proper test equipment required to facilitate network troubleshooting when required and shall perform testing of all network cabling vendor has installed.
- Maintain proper documentation while escorting various vendors into secured customer spaces.
- Perform all task(s) in a neat, timely and professional manner.
- Install equipment racks and accessories to manufacturer's guidelines.
- Responsible for installing various network devices, servers, or routers according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Ability to trouble shoot layer-1 (physical) connectivity issues and perform basic layer2 problem analysis to determine state of device.
- Ability to install and trouble shoot POTS/FAX lines and T1 circuits.
- Complete proper documentation of customer's inventory management.
- Maintain proper documentation of salvage equipment.
- Assist with equipment shipping and receiving.

- This position requires specific work hours to be adhered to. Typically the work hours are not flexible, so you must be able available to work during those hours.
