Summary
The driver will provide transportation primarily for residents / patients of long term care and / or assisted living facilities of LincolnHealth.
Occasionally provides transporttion for Independent living residents and hospital patients. The driver will use company vehicles including but not limited to a 15 passenger bus, or 7 passenger van (both of which have wheel chair lifts).
On occasion the driver may be asked to conduct non patient / resident related errands.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education : High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- License / Certifications : Valid State of Maine Driver's License.
- Experience : N / A
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
