What you will do :
- Contribute to the achievement of quality intervention and student outcomes utilizing evidenced based teaching strategies or applied behavior analysis.
- Support students in achieving their highest potential through acquiring new skills and reducing challenging behaviors under the supervision a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Special Education Teacher
- Provide a structured and supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective behavior analytic treatment through implementation of individually designed programs for children with development disorders.
- Record and analyze data to track progress
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) What you will need :
- Education : Please see License / Certifications
- License / Certifications : Behavioral Tech (0-59 college credits in approved study), Special Ed Tech II (60-89 college credits in approved study) or Certification as an Education Technician III from the Maine Department of Education (minimum of 90 credits in approved study).
Certification as School-Based Behavioral Health Professional will be provided upon hire.
