Summary

This position is accountable for the timely and efficient operation of the automated wash system to include a continuous batch washer, automated drying systems to ensure clean and sanitary linen.

• License / Certifications : N / A
• Experience : N / A
• Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions and perform simple arithmetic calculations in order to assemble properly sized loads and maintain routine records.
• Ability to operate automated equipment such as the computerized CBW and the central chemical supply system.
• Approximately 90-120 days of on-the-job experience necessary to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of appropriate linen categories, washing supplies, equipment and various textiles and their specific processing requirements
• Ability to walk and stand for up to one hundred percent of work time and to push carts weighing several hundred pounds up an incline.
• Requires the ability to multitask.
